User-Centric Research | Communication Design

Project Overview

Associate Mobility aimed to improve the working experience of associates working within a grocery retail environment through user-centric research. Through various research and ideation methods, the team was able to identify common pain points and opportunities for improvement within the space, and deliver these insights to the rest of the organization for future research or project development.

My Contributions

In this project, I was responsible for creating research guidelines for the project and overseeing our interviews, ensuring that we were collecting the right information for our purposes. I also was responsible for ensuring the information we collected was easily digestible to the rest of the team.

MO Medical

Interface Design | Product Design

Project Overview

MO Medical aimed to tackle the issue of low medical literacy in patients receiving healthcare. Through user-centric research with our direct target audience, we designed an AI to bridge the information gap between patients and healthcare professionals, giving patients a more complete picture of their healthcare, while saving the time of healthcare professionals so they can focus on more critical care patients.

My Contributions

While working on MO Medical, I was the key copywriter and programmer. While the team worked collaboratively on all aspects of the project, I was responsible for overseeing all writing in deliverables, presentations, research guidelines, reports, and user interfaces. Also programmed the final physical prototype for testing and demonstration.

Right Seat

Interface Design | Market Research

Project Overview

The Right Seat is way for furloughed pilots to gain flight hours and maintain flight certifications during the Covid-19 pandemic. Through business research, the team created a business model and mobile app that allowed pilots to match with eligible flights and get time in the pilot's seat.

My Contributions

I was the lead UX designer on this project, and created all iterations UI for the mobile app. I was also the copywriter for all final deliverables and ensured that all text was consistent with brand guidelines.

Conversate

Interface Design | Product Design | Conversational Design

Project Overview

Conversate is a way for anyone to socialize from the comfort of their own home. Inspired by an increase in feelings of isolation and depression during lockdowns, Conversate allows users with similar interests to be matched together for a quick conversation, and also provides a charismatic voice UI that can help facilitate conversation and alleviate awkwardness.

My Contributions

On this project, I was the main research lead, and set the research goals and guidelines for the project. I also was responsible for all writing in the final deliverables, and creating the personality and dialogue flows for the device VUI.

Repact

UX Design | Design for Sustainability | Web Design

Project Overview

Repact is a way to reduce the amount of packaging waste that ends up in trash and recycling systems, as well as on the street itself. Repact is a reusable package that allows customers to return the packaging for later use. Businesses can also customize Repact mailers with branding options so they can still express their brand identity while remaining sustainable.

My Contributions

I was the project lead for Repact, and was responsible for all deliverables and interfaces created in the project, as well as all writing within the process work. Being my pilot foray into UX design, this project was a big learning experience for me.
